CHALLENGE CHATBOT ZKM KARLSRUHE
I took third place with this design of the chatbot of the CKM Karlsruhe
The task was to create a design for a chatbot. This robot should answer simple questions of museum visits and relieve the staff.
The round shape on the product expresses softness and lightness and is intended to give the customers a positive impression. A face could encourage the customer to go to the robot. Once the visits arrive before the device, a small camera recognizes the person and greets them through the integrated speaker. This also encourages the visitor to speak out his questions loudly. These are recorded by a microphone. If for certain reasons that device perceives the acoustics, you can use the touch display to ask your question (similar to a chat). The device is 1.35 meters high and has a moving “head” so that smaller people or children can operate the chatbot.
